F-35 Augmented Reality Helmet is Finally Ready!
According to Dailytech.com, an ultra high-tech augmented reality helmet designed to function with the F-35 fighter aircraft has been completed and is now ready for use. The helmet projects live video feeds from cameras all over the aircraft, including flight data and night vision, directly in front of the pilots eyes, giving him an unparalleled field of view. Many of the delays associated with the F-35 were tied directly to helmet based malfunctions, including problems with the direct video feed. However, as this Dailytech.com article indicates, the helmet is now functioning properly and ready for use.
