This is a British Army beret from the Post-Cold War era (1991-Present). The beret features a gold metal Royal Military Police (RMP) cap badge on the front bearing the cypher of Queen Elizabeth II. The rest of the beret is red, the distinctive color worn by the RMP. The beret has a leather trim as well as a set of ties at the back used to adjust its size. On the inside is a Compton & Webb Headress Ltd. label.
