Czechoslovakian Leather Fire Helmet, Interwar

This is a Czechoslovakian fire helmet dating to the immediate post-World War I Interwar period (1918-1939). The helmet is of German manufactured from hardened leather with brass comb, lion’s head side chinstrap posts, and visor trim. Featured on the front is a Czechoslovakian fire badge of brass with red enamel inlays. The badge consists of the Slovak cross superimposed over the Czech lion surrounded by leaves, crossing ladders, and a large axe.
