This is a Chinese National Revolutionary Army (NRA) field cap dating to the World War II era (1939-1945). Similar to the German M-43 style field cap, it is made from lightweight tan canvas and features a painted NRA cap badge on the front bearing a sun burst on a blue disc, the insignia of the Chinese Nationalist Party, or Kuomintang. Below the badge is a set of wooden buttons. These buttons provide only decoration as the cap has a non-folding flap.
