British Army 58th Division Officer's Private Purchase Mk-I Helmet
This is a British Army Mk-I steel helmet of the 58th (2/1st London) Infantry Division. The shell is standard but the interior features a high quality custom made leather liner that includes a draw string suspension and four separate circle pads attached to the crown. The helmet also has a leather chinstrap. A manufacturer’s label from Herbert Johnson dates the helmet to the Interwar period (1918-1939).
