This is a German police riot helmet dating to the late Cold War era (1947-1991). The white plastic helmet features a North Rhine-Westphalia coat of arms on the front above a retractable clear face shield. On the interior is a leather liner, size 53-55, a three-point leather chinstrap with plastic chin cup, and a thick black leather neck guard. Written on the liner is a the name “ALBERS.”
