This is a Czechoslovakian Financial Guard (Finanční stráže) Model 1928/30 steel helmet from the 1930s-1940s. It has green paint finish with silver vent comb and features a silver financial guard insignia on the front. The green is painted over the original black finish, which is visible on the interior as well as scrapes on the exterior. These helmets were fitted with several different types of liners, this one being four pads of leather stuffed with cloth.
