Israeli Defense Forces M-1 Style Helmet, 1970s-80s
This is an M-1 style helmet produced in Israel during the 1970s and worn in the 1982 Lebanon War. The shell is olive green and includes a tan camouflage net cover. A British style three-point chinstrap is fastened to the shell by three loops. The shell is dated to 1975. On the inside is a removable plastic liner. The liner has an M-1 suspension system made of leather and canvas. The liner has several manufacturer's marks that indicate it was also produced in Israel.
