French Paris Fire Brigade Captain's Kepi

This is a French Paris Fire Brigade kepi from the Post-Cold War era (1991-Present). The black velvet bodied kepi features a silver embroidered flaming grenade on the front. Around the crown of the kepi are three lines of silver piping, indicating the rank of captain. On the top of the kepi is a Hungarian Knot. A silver lace chinstrap is attached to the front of the kepi by a set of silver buttons embossed with the Sapeurs-pompiers (Fire Brigade) insignia.
