Israeli Defense Forces Winter Sock Cap
This is a Israeli Defense Forces winter sock cap, or kova gerev in Hebrew, from the Post-Cold War (1991-Present). The cap is made from green wool. It features the title "Israeli Army" embroidered in English, as well as "IDF" embroidered in Hebrew on the front. This cap is a modern manufacture of the old style sock cap introduced in the late 1940s.
