This is a German Model 1942 Luftwaffe (Air Force) helmet from World War II (1939-1945). It features a factory blue gray textured paint finish with no decal insignia, which were no longer factory-applied after August 1943. On the inside is leather M-31 liner. The liner has the name “Henzler” written near the back. The helmet was manufactured by the Eisenhüttenwerke A.G. from Thale.
