It features two decals: a first pattern Luftwaffe national emblem (issued from 1935-1937) and a German tricolor shield. The helmet’s paint finish is blue-gray, the typical color used by the Luftwaffe. On the inside is an M-31 leather liner with a liner band dated 1937. On the back skirt is the name Runge. The shell was made by Eisenhüttenwerke A.G. of Thale.
