This is a German Luftwaffe (Air Force) Model 1935 helmet worn during the early part of the Second World War (1939-1945). It has a field gray paint finish and features a second pattern Luftwaffe service eagle on the left and tricolor national shield on the right. The interior contains a standard issue M-31 leather liner with an aluminum band and leather chinstrap.
