German Luftschutz M-35 "Beaded" Helmet, ET62

This is a German Model 1935 helmet worn by a member of the Luftschutz (Air Raid Protection Service). It is the “beaded” non-combat version of the M-35 style manufactured by the same company that produced the combat version, the Eisenhuttenwerke company from Thale (ET). The simple interior leather liner with cork spacers further indicates its non-combat use. Featured on the front is a large Luftschutz winged decal.
