This is a Chinese People's Armed Police Force fall/spring style beret from the 1980s. It is specifically intended to be worn by female police officers during the fall/spring seasons. The beret is blue with red piping in the crown. The interior is white and has a descriptive stamp indicating the size of the beret. This beret is a later model as it features an elastic element to secure it better to the wearer's head. On the front of the beret is the red and gold badge of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force. The badge features the five stars of the Chinese flag and a visage of the Tiananmen, or Heavenly Gate, in Beijing.
