U.S. Army M-1 Paratrooper Helmet

This is a United States Army M-1 Paratrooper helmet from World War II (1939-1945). The helmet features a webbed camouflage net around the olive green shell. On the inside is a Westinghouse paratrooper liner. This liner includes an A-loop chinstrap with adjustable leather chin cup. It also includes two snap fasteners, securing liner to the helmets shell. Finally, the liner has a leather chinstrap wrapped around the front of the shell. The shell was manufactured by McCord Radiator Company.
