U.S. Army 80th Division M-1 Training Helmet Liner

This American M-1 helmet liner dates back to World War II (1939-1945). However, it was utilized after the war (around the 1960s) by the 80th Infantry Division for training purposes. It features the 80th Division "Blue Ridge" insignia on the left and the division's distinctive unit insignia on the right, which bears the motto "Only Moves Forward." The yellow band indicates its use for training. The liner itself is a WWII type manufactured by the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company.
