U.S. Navy Petty Officer's M-1 Helmet Liner
This is a United States Navy M-1 liner from World War II (1939-1945). The helmet features a petty officer second class rank insignia on the front, surrounded by a set of blue strips. The rest of the helmet is painted white. On the inside is a suspension liner with a leather sweatband. There is also an Inland manufacturer’s stamp.
