Polizei Officer of Administration Service Cap
The body of this visor cap is produced in a police blue/green wool in a trikot weave. It has a prominent peak with sides that gently slope down toward the rear. The piping is special, being grey in color indicating this cap was worn by an officer assigned to administration. The center band is brown, produced in badge cloth. The two-piece nickel/silver officer’s style police eagle maintains a majority of its original finish and rests just below a tricolor cockade with a red felt center. The officer’s style bullion chinstrap is attached by means of two small silver pebbled aluminum buttons. The visor is shiny black with an underside finished in a brownish-orange hue. The interior is fully lined in a green cloth. The motto of the manufacturer, Peter Küpper of Wuppertal-Ronsdorf, is stamped in black ink directly onto the liner. This consists of the word “Peküro” inside a diamond, which is on its side. The sweatband is produced in an ersatz leather and is in a brownish-orange color. The approximately size of the cap is a 56.
