This is a Danish National Police visor hat from the Interwar Period (1918-1939). The hat features a Danish cockade on the top set over a Danish crown surrounded by a gold embroidered wreath. A black leather chinstrap is attached to the front by a set of gold buttons embossed with Danish crowns. The rest of the hat is dark blue with a black hat band. On the inside is a worn manufacturer’s stamp.
