U.S. Army M-1 Liner for 111th Infatry Regiment, 28th Division

This is a United States 28th Infantry Division M-1 liner from the early Cold War era (1947-1991). The liner, which was produced during the early 1950s, features a 28th Infantry Division insignia on the front. On either side of the helmet is a 111th Infantry Regiment insignia that features the Benjamin Franklin statue. The rest of the helmet is painted a light olive green. On the inside are the remains of a suspension liner. A manufacturer’s stamp on inside identifies both the Westinghouse and CAPAC companies.
