U.S. Army Lieutenant's M-1 Liner, 1950s

This is a United States Army M-1 liner. It is olive drab and has an olive drab No.7 cotton suspension system typical of the mid to late 1950s. The sweatband is reused from WWII as it is the light olive drab herringbone twill type. The front of the helmet features a silver first lieutenant’s rank insignia.
