This is a German M-34 non-combat helmet. It is a shiny black helmet with a Volkswagen logo in white on the front. Like other M-34s, this helmet has two five hole vents on either side. The top cushion as well as the leather lining are still intact, however, the black leather chinstrap is split in half. On the back apron is a small brass plate with the number 17 on it bolted onto the helmet.
