Scottish Ambulance Service Assistant Chief Officer's Visor Cap

This is a Scottish Ambulance Service peaked cap from the Post-Cold War era (1991-Present). The hat features a Scottish Ambulance Service cap badge on the front, which includes the Cross of St. Andrew, one of the symbols of Scotland. A black plastic chinstrap is attached to the front by black side buttons. On the brim is silver embroidery, indicating the rank of Assistant Chief Officer. The rest of the cap is made from black wool with red piping around the mohair cap band. On the inside is a manufacturer’s label for C.W. Headdress Ltd. as well as a size 58 or 7 1/4 tag.
