This is an Italian Model 1933 variant helmet from WWII (1939-1945). It features four ventilation holes, including one on the top. These variant helmets varied from zero, four, or six ventilation holes, while the standard Model 1933 helmets had three. Although most variation helmets belonged to auxiliary troops, this helmet has the insignia of the 8th Artillery Combat Divison.¹
