This is a Spanish Model 1921 helmet from the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). The helmet features a metal Francoist forces crest on the front.¹ The shell of the helmet is painted olive green and has a short neck skirt at the back. On the inside is a leather three pad liner bolted into the helmet shell by seven rivets. The helmet also has a leather chinstrap.
