West German Bundeswehr Paratrooper Jump Wings in Bronze

This is a pair of West German Bundeswehr paratrooper jump wings in bronze dating to the 1960s-1970s. The silver wings with bronze wreath badge was the first type of jump wings issued by the Bundeswher in the 1960s. The bronze wing badge is the lowest of three grades (bronze, silver, and gold) and is awarded to parachutists who make five jumps. It measures 150mm wide.
