U.S. Army Senior Aviator Subdued Wings
This is a United States Army senior aviator’s wings. It is the blackened subdued version with a star above the shield to designate a senior aviator. The badge is 2 1/2 inches wide and the back has the clutch pin fasteners and is stamped “D-22.” The manufacturer was Denmark’s Military Equipment Co. though the badge was sold by Wolf Brown Inc.
