This is a Czechoslovakian Model 1953 helmet from the Cold War era (1947-1991). The helmet features a green shell and is similar in design to the helmets used by the Soviet Union.¹ On the inside is a leather liner and chinstrap. This helmet was the most exported helmet of any in the Warsaw Pact countries (1955-1991).²
