U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Officer's Visor Hat
This is a United States Army visor hat from the Vietnam War era (1955-1975). The hat features an Army officer's cap badge on the front. Below the badge is a gold lace chinstrap attached by a set of gold Army Corps of Engineers officer buttons.1 The rest of the hat is made from green wool. On the inside is a manufacturer's label for Kingform Cap Company Inc. and a name card for 2nd Lieutenant Phillip M. Johnson.
