This is an early Cold War era (1947-1991) United States Air Force officer's "crusher" visor cap. Known for its floppy appearance made popular during WWII, this "crusher" cap features an officer's silver Air Force eagle cap badge on the front. Below the badge is a leather chinstrap attached by a set of silver buttons bearing the USAF emblem. The rest of the cap is blue with a blue mohair hat band. On the inside is a leather sweat band and an unmarked plastic lining.
