USAF MB4 Cold War Flight Helmet with Visor
This is a USAF MB-4 flight helmet dating from June 4, 1957
(most likely a refurbishment date since the visor is mounted over a previously applied Air Fore decal of the P-1/P-2 helmet types). The helmet is outfitted with the late-style visor, which allows it to be flipped up completely out of the wearer’s peripheral vision. In addition, it has the H-75/AIC communication system to comply with the AN AIC-10 aircraft communication standard.
