This M-1 helmet was manufactured by the Schlueter Company between 1944 and 1945. It has a rough textured olive drab paint job and late model “swivel bale” chinstrap loops. The liner is painted an odd olive green and features the insignia of the 78th “Lightning” Division on the left side.
