British Mk-II with Red Cross of Lorraine Badge
This is a British Mk-II helmet from World War II (1939-1945). The Cross of Lorraine vividly painted in red inside a diamond on the helmet’s right side indicates the helmets use by Free French forces. Another Cross of Lorraine is painted on the front, but it has faded with age.
