French Civil Defense M-26 Adrian Helmet for Railway Guards

This is a French Model 1926 Adrian steel helmet. It was used by the Défence Passive (Civil Defense) of France during World War II (1939-1945). The front of the helmet features the DP badge, which is painted over with a light-green triangle to signify railway guards.
