This is an Italian alpine cap from the Cold War era (1947-1991). On the front of the cap is a Italian alpine troops insignia. Below the badge is a leather strip with several metal gold stars on it. Also attached to the front is a red, white, and green cord. The inside of the cap features a leather sweatband.
