German SA Enlisted Man's Buckle, Type 2

This is an example of a German SA enlisted man's belt buckle from World War II (1939-1945). The buckle is a two piece construction, consisting of a plain brass buckle and a stamped nickel face plate. The face plate features a Nazi eagle national emblem with wings spread clutching a wreathed and rotated swastika. It has been soldered to the brass buckle, and there are no visible production codes. The face plates for SA buckles had many variations of the swastika (from sunwheel to rotated) and the eagle (head above/bellow the rope).1
