U.S. Navy Reserve Lieutenant's Visor Hat, Pre-WWII

This is a United States Navy Reserve officer’s visor hat from the Interwar Period (1918-1939). The hat features an embroidered Naval officer’s cap badge on the front. Below the badge is a gold chinstrap attached by a set of gold Navy side buttons. The rest of the hat is a dark navy blue and includes a black mohair hat band. On the inside is an identification card for Lieutenant W. C. Jackson, U.S. Navy Reserve. The name card also includes part of Lt. Jackson’s address.
