French Navy Petty Officer's Visor Cap, WWII
This is a World War II era (1939-1945) French Navy visor cap for petty officer 2nd class. It is made from dark blue wool and features petty officer's rank wire embroidered cap badge on the front. The petty officer 2nd class rank is evidenced by the lack of a gold stripe on the cap band.1 The cap was manufactured by The Jockey Club.
