U.S. Navy APH-6B Flight Helmet named to Captain Brown
This is a United States Navy APH-6B flight helmet from the Cold War era (1947-1991). It has a white fiberglass shell with an orange "A" over either earpiece. Featured on the back and front visor cover is a large black spade insignia over the name "CAPT BROWN" on a yellow reflective tape background. It has a boom microphone attached to the right side and an MS22001 oxygen mask assembly. The interior is padded with foam and leather. The helmet was manufactured in 1969, as per the DSA (Defense Supply Agency) number.
