German Army M-18 Reissued Steel Helmet
This is a German Model 1918 steel helmet from the First World War that was refurbished for use by the German Heer (Army) under the Nazi regime. It features a smooth green pre-WWII paint finish, with a German tricolor national shield on the right and a Heer eagle national emblem on the left. The name “Off. Rüdel” is written in white paint inside the rear neck guard. Also, the “W” stamped on the inner left skirt signifies the Hermann Weissenberger company, the manufacturer of the steel shell.
