This is a side, or garrison, cap worn by officers in the British Royal Army Pay Corps (RAPC). It is made from black felt with golden yellow piping and has a tan cloth interior sweatband. Featured on the cap’s left side is a RAPC officer’s cap badge in gold and silver. The corps motto “FIDE ET FIDUCIA” (In Faith and Trust) is located on the banner.
