This is a Italian Model 1915/16 steel helmet from World War I (1914-1918). It is based on the design of the French M-15 Adrian helmet, but is made from two pieces of steel rather than four: one for the shell and other for the top ventilation comb. The helmet features a unique camouflage of light and dark greens with splotches of light blue and tan. A red diamond is painted to the front with four holes that held a metal insignia, which is missing.
