This is a British Royal Air Force (RAF) enlisted man’s side cap from World War II (1939-1945). The cap features a metal enlisted ranks RAF cap badge on the left side. Also on the side are two ear flaps pinned to the front by a set of black buttons embossed with the RAF insignia. On the inside is a S & P Harris Ltd. manufacturer’s stamp that dates the cap to 1945.
