This is a Israel Defense Force tropical boonie hat from the Cold War era (1947-1991). The hat is tan and features a Tzahal stamp on the front rim. One side of the hat can be raised up and held into place by a snap fastener. The inside of the hat features two manufacturer’s stamps and some illegible writing written in green ink on the sweatband.
