This is a GS Mk-6 combat helmet worn by the British military during the mid-1980s. It is made from layers of ballistic nylon bonded with reinforced resin. These helmets were usually worn with a camouflage cover, which is missing from this example. A manufacturer’s tag inside lists a production date of 1986.
