This is a Yugoslavian People’s Army NE44 steel helmet from the Cold War era (1947-1991). The helmet has a light olive green paint finish and features a red star painted on the front. On the inside is an American M-1 style canvas suspension liner with a leather sweat band. Several sets of writing line the inside rim of the helmet.
