French Kepi for Inspecteur General des Haras Nationaux
This kepi belonged to the Inspecteur General des Haras Nationaux (Inspector General of National Horse Breeding). It is made from black wool and features two silver stars on the front. The embroidered chinstrap is acanthus leaves of the same pattern worn by Intendant Generals, but here it is done in silver rather than gold.
