French Embroidered Kepi for Commissariat Brigadier General

This is a modern kepi worn by a Commissaire brigadier general, the successor to the Intendance militaire. The cap band is dark royal blue velvet embroidered in two rows of gold acanthus leaves forming a wreath around two gold stars, which distinguishes the Commissaire général de brigade. This style was introduced for generals in the 1980s.
