This is a Post-Cold War era (1991-Present) French General Armament Engineer (Ingénieur générale de l’armement) white-topped summer visor cap. The cap features a gold wire embroidered cap badge of the General Directorate of Armament (DGA) on the front. Below the cap badge is a gold double corded chinstrap attached by a set of gold buttons embossed with the DGA insignia. Around the middle of the cap is senior rank embroidered cap band.
